Singing workshop, 13 April

Our next monthly get-together will be on Friday 13 April at 7.30pm at Highgrove (we're skipping the first Friday of the month as it's Good Friday!).

We're going to be having a Singing Workshop on the evening where we'll be learning some vocal exercises, practising some harmonies, thinking (and doing!) a bit of spontaneous singing and maybe more if we get time!

The aim very much is to give us all a chance to build a bit of confidence when it comes to singing and have a lot of fun together while we do it! Do come along even if you play an instrument and do not usually sing - it'll be fun to join in the singing together and, if you don't fancy that, we could do with some instruments to accompany us.

I do very much hope you'll be able to come along. I promise the singing will all be done as a group - there'll be no picking on people individually!

There'll be some coffee, tea and cakes. Please also bring your diary with you so we can get moving on organising the next worship rota. Could you reply to let me know whether you're coming along so we can get an idea of numbers?

Lots of love
Ed

We'll be spending the evening learning some new songs together as well as going over a few recently introduced ones. To access chord sheets for these songs, do click on the below titles. We won't have time to go through all of them!

Awesome is the Lord most high (F, Capo 1 - E) - Chris Tomlin and others

Everything (A) - Tim Hughes

How can I keep from singing (G ish) - Chris Tomlin and others

From the inside out (Bb, Capo 3 - G) - Joel Houston

The Stand (A) - Joel Houston
